INFINISWING
The INFINISWING was born from a desire to awaken us from the isolation so many human beings experience. It was created to provide an experiential solution for the urge to connect and play.
Part swing, part upside down see-saw, the INFINISWING is an experiment in cooperative motion: a unified structure that can only be propelled when two participants (or more) sit on opposite sides, and work and play together. The constraint (requiring at least two people working together) is the point. The required interactive nature of this installation elevates the participant to inclusion as part of the art itself. The forcing of cooperation and shared rhythm between participants, turns a simple act of play into something deeply human. The act of participation completes the piece.
Sharón Chandally Pedrini is a jewelry artist who carries tradition forward, innovating under the influence of generations. Her work explores the tension between asymmetry and balance, simplicity and chaos, synthesizing Yemenite silver-smithing with a uniquely modern sensibility. Her body of work looks to the future and nods to the past, celebrating the dance between old and new with grace, glamour, and a touch of grit.
The INFINISWING represents a natural evolution of her practice — moving from intimate wearable objects into large-scale public sculpture that invites the body into dialogue with space, material, and other people.
