INFINISWING

The Infiniswing concept emerged during the pandemic, when the artist, Sharón Chandally Pedrini, observed people sitting on opposite ends of benches, straining to face each other and talk. She began imagining a form that could respond to that longing for connection. The Infiniswing is a face-to-face swing activated when two people sit across from each other and reciprocate movement. Through shared motion, it becomes a simple yet profound experiment in cooperation, relating to research that connects synchronized movement with depolarization. Inspired by the Möbius strip, the Infiniswing’s shape represents unity and infinity, embodying the idea that what seems divided is actually continuous, dissolving dualities such as inside and outside, self and other.
